Trail-Gear has remedied that issue by offering our new Trail-Safe Samurai Transfer Case Front input-output Seal. The Trail Safe Samurai Transfer Case Front input-output inner seal lip is totally supported by a garter spring applying constant force over the full 360 circumference. This prevents any deflection gaps and stops oil from bypassing the seal lip. The inner lip is also molded with bi-directional double helix pumping ribs to keep oil in and water out. The outer seal lip acts as a secondary seal and keeps debris and other contaminants away from the inner seal lip. Unlike other aftermarket transfer case seals, we retain the OEM face seal feature to provide an additional line of defense against dirt and debris. The O.D. of the Trail Safe Seal is 100 coated with high-temperature Viton rubber so that it forms a complete static surface seal resulting in zero leaks and maximum longevity. The outer flange prevents the seal from being pushed too far into the transfer case housing. This is by far the most effective transfer case seal on themarket,and will help you keep your favorite trails free of oil. This seal is a direct drop-in replacement for Suzuki PN 29971-83050.
